New Horizons Spokane is happy to answer any questions you have regarding courses, schedules, purchases and more. Below is a list of our frequently asked questions. If your question is not below, please complete our Contact Form or call us directly at 509-328-8077.
General Questions
First, you can purchase training directly on our website. Once you have found the class you are interested in, select "Add to Cart". You will be taken to the Shopping Cart page to review your selections. When you are ready, click "Purchase" to continue to the login page. Once you are logged in, complete the form to submit your purchase.

Yes. If you need a course that is not currently on our schedule or available at the right time, we will work with you to find the right solution. To get started, complete our Contact Form or call us at 888-825-6684.
Online Purchasing

We accept Visa, American Express, Master Card, Pre-Paid Training Coupons, Invoice/ Purchase Orders, Checks, Club Memberships, Microsoft Software Assurance Training Vouchers or Cisco Learning Credits.

Your credit card will not be charged until your order has been confirmed.

After submitting your purchase online you will receive an email confirming your order submission; this is not your enrollment confirmation. Once we review your order and confirm course availability, you will receive a second email with a transaction code confirming your enrollment. Please note that we will not charge your credit card until your enrollment is confirmed. Please allow up to 24 hours for a confirmation.

If you need to change or cancel an online purchase, call the center directly to speak to a New Horizons representative. We are happy to make any changes or cancellations in accordance with our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

To check the status of your online order, log in to "My Account" and click on "Purchases." Each purchase will either have a status of Pending or Confirmed.
On-Demand Classroom Questions

Monday thru Thursday from 8:00AM to 4:00PM
Morning Sesson: 8:00AM to 11:30AM
Afternoon Session: 12:30PM to 4:00PM

Monday thru Thursday, the classroom is open at 7:45AM. You may access your video as early as 7:50AM.

No, the classroom will be open, but the mentor may not be available during this time.
Classroom is closed at 4:00PM.

You may stay a bit later, but be aware that someone else may be assigned to sit in your seat in the afternoon session. If you want to stay longer, please let the mentor know first thing in the morning to ensure a seat is available all day.

There is a break room available for your use. It has free coffee, tea, cold/hot water, and doughnuts. There are vending machines with other cold drinks and snacks. Microwaves and a refrigerator are also available. Feel free to bring a sack lunch and use our refrigerator or microwave.

Yes, you may bring things to drink or eat in the classroom.

Lunch is at any time you prefer and is as long or short as you prefer. There are places to eat close by, or you may eat in our break room, or eat in the classroom.

When you or your company enrolled you, the classes you are eligible to take were determined. If you are uncertain about the classes you may take, please ask the mentor. Each individual may be taking different classes, so please ask. Your AE (Account Exec) here at the school also has a list of the classes you may enroll in.

In the classroom is a form you may fill in the dates and times you plan on attending for a week. You may fill this in a week in advance and give it to the mentor. The information will be entered and a seat will be saved for you. OR, you may call in (509-328-8077 extension 0) and let the front desk know when you want to come in (or leave a message). Please understand that seating is limited.

If you know in advance that you cannot make it for a day you scheduled, let the mentor know. IF something occurs last minute and you cannot attend, call the school at 509-328-8077 (extension 0); either let the front desk know you cannot attend, or leave a message. The more advance notice you give us, the more we have the flexibility to allow another person to attend.

Let the mentor know as we try to be as flexible as possible. We understand you may have an appointment, but want to come in afterwards; or that you need to leave early. No problem, just let the mentor know. Just remember our hours are 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday thru Thursday.

Students taking a series of classes will usually have a start and end date for all of their classes. Ask the mentor or your AE (Account Exec) if you do not know your end date.

Since this is a mentored learning environment, you may find you cannot complete the class in one day We do not want to rush you; our goal is to make sure you gain the knowledge you need. IF you find you cannot complete the class in a day, talk with the mentor or your AE (Account Exec) about coming in at another time to complete the class.

In most cases, the answer is no. Please talk with the mentor about your situation as there may be exceptions.

Each class you take with us has exercise files to go along with your training. If you want, you may take these exercise files with you for future use/reference. These exercise files along with your book will be excellent resources.

Check with the mentor if you are interested in some other resources for the class you are taking.

Yes, you have up to six months after you complete a class to repeat the class with us. We ask that you call the front desk (328-8077 ext 0)and let us know when you plan on attending to ensure a seat is available. Also, please bring your book.

You may listen to the lessons in any order you choose. In order to receive a certificate of completion for your class, you must have passed all quizzes (80 or above) in the class.

Yes, if you did not bring a flash drive but want to take information with you, emailing it to yourself is another way to take it with you.

Yes, as this gives you a chance for hands-on experience and something you may take with you (if you have a flash drive).

If you want a certificate of completion for the class, you must pass all quizzes with a score of 80 or more.
